Description

Tishomingo State Park is a historic area located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Historians believe Paleo Indians once roamed the area. Uncommon to Mississippi, Tishomingo has large rock formation throughout the park. Disc golfing, boating, swimming, picnicking, canoeing and field sporting are all popular here. A 13-mile trail system is also available for hikers. The trail takes you through rocky ridges and fern-filled canyons.

Directions

From Memphis, take 72 highway to Iuka, then Hwy 25 south. Follow the signs.
